Having the highest credentials an auctioneer can achieve and the vast experience of personally conducting thousands of public auction sales over 20 years, Ronny serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the New Jersey State Society of Auctioneers. He is also a member of the National Auctioneers Association. Ronny is also a highly skilled Appraiser, providing expert perspectives on asset valuations in assisting financial institutions, corporations and government agencies make informed and timely decisions. Ronny is a long-standing member of the American Society of Appraisers and the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers. Ronny has been in the auction & appraisal business his entire life. As a teenager, Ronny was preparing inventories, equipment and machinery for his grandfather, founder Samuel Caspert and father, Herbert Caspert. Upon graduation from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Ronny continued his education at the prestigious Missouri School of Auctioneering and attained the designation of “Certified Auctioneer” at Indiana University’s Certified Auctioneers Institute.
MITCHELL CASPERTVice President, Marketing & Financemitchell@caspert.com Mitchell devoted 18 years to the supervision and administration of attorneys at two prominent New York City law firms. He brings his legal experience and education, business acumen and technology "know how" to the business he grew up in: the auction and appraisal business. Mitchell received his Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management and was awarded his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. He is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Turnaround Management Association, and the National Auctioneers Association. Mitchell prides himself on staying abreast of trends and developments in the law and technology and has lectured attorneys about technology ("Assessing Technology: Are you prepared for the 21st Century? The Means and Methods to Get There.") Mitchell has always pursued charitable endeavours and is a founding member of Project Bright Future. He has also been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Angelman Syndrome Foundation.
BERNARD SENCER, ASA, AAASenior Appraiser Bernie is a noted professional machinery and equipment Appraiser. His well credentialed appraisals are designed to meet the varied needs of courts, insurance professionals and banking industry officials. Bernie is currently the only individual serving on both the Board of Governors of the American Society of Appraisers (where he is certified as a Senior Member) and the Board of Directors of the Appraisers Association of America. He is also a panelist at the American Arbitration Association. Bernie graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science in Business and was then awarded a Masters in Business Administration from Baruch School of City College of New York.
RICHARD SCHMIDTAuctioneer & Chief On-Site Auction Coordinator Richard has over 35 years of experience in every aspect of auction industry. Richard has been with Caspert Management full-time for over 16 years as an Auctioneer and as our Chief Auction Coordinator. His duties include supervising our crews at various auction sites throughout the United States to prepare for and conduct public auction sales. Richard also oversees the dismantling and removal process. Richard’s credo: “Only proper preparation and promotion will assure a successful auction.”
CHARLES RAMNARINEOn-Site Auction Coordinator Charlie has worked in the auction industry for over 15 years, specializing in auction site preparation and display. A former manufacturing industry machine operator, Charlie’s knowledge of machinery and equipment assure that the assets offered at our public auctions sales are presented to maximize their value. Whether it’s industrial equipment; woodworking machinery or trade tooling, Charlie’s years of cataloging and meticulous preparation are well known in the auction business. Charlie is a graduate of Coventyne Educational College; the Empire Real Estate School and the Cashier Training Institute.
